These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Secret Followersservice (the "Service"), available at secretfollowers.com and operated by Secret Followers, based in Portugal (the "Company", "we", "us").
The Service lets a user look up a public Instagram account to see a preview of its recent followers and following, and, with a paid subscription, track a limited number of public Instagram accounts over time and receive notifications when changes are detected (new follower, lost follower, new following, unfollow).
By accessing or using the Service, you (the "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Data shown by the Service is obtained through third-party technical providers that query publicly available Instagram information. The Service never asks for your Instagram credentials and never logs into any Instagram account on your behalf.
Secret Followers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
The free preview is available without creating an account, subject to a rate limit on the number of searches per period (enforced technically per IP address).
Access to paid features requires creating an account linked to a valid email address and subscribing to a plan. Sign-in is handled through a one-time code sent by email (no password).
You are solely responsible for keeping access to your email inbox secure, since it is used to authenticate you on the Service. The Service must be used by adults, or by minors with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for anyone under 16 years old.
Subscription plans, their prices and billing cadence (weekly or monthly) are shown on the Pricing page and may change at any time; price changes do not apply to a billing period already paid for.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store any card details; this information is handled exclusively by Stripe, subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
Subscriptions run for an indefinite term and renew automatically at each billing period (week or month) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your "Account" page, via the subscription management portal provided by Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refund is provided, except where required by law.
Where applicable local consumer law grants a right of withdrawal for digital content, that right may not apply once performance has begun with your prior express agreement and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
The Service can only track public Instagram accounts. If a tracked account becomes private, the Service may no longer be able to fetch new data for it.
Information shown (follower/following counts, profile pictures, usernames) is obtained through third-party technical providers that collect publicly available Instagram data. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or continuous availability of this data, which may be affected by changes on Instagram's side, technical limitations, or outages of third-party providers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, without notice or refund, the access of any User who breaches these Terms.
We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, particularly during maintenance, outages, or unavailability of third-party providers (hosting, Instagram data providers, payment processor, email provider, etc.).
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, including features and subscription plans, at any time, and will notify subscribed Users when a change substantially affects the Service they are paying for.
The "Secret Followers" name, domain name, source code, design, and site content (excluding data originating from Instagram) are owned by us or our licensors. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, or use is prohibited.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, including inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable data from third-party providers, or decisions made based on information displayed by the Service.
In any event, our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription over the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. The version in force is the one published on this page, together with its last updated date. In case of a material change, subscribed Users will be notified by email before the new Terms take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts of Portugal shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law applicable to you provides otherwise.
